After fruitlessly questioning The New Kid, he realized that The New Kid does not have one, so he helps in adding The New Kid's Kryptonite inside the Character Sheet app of The New Kid's phone.Īfter the incident at Raisins, he was hunted down by the Raisins girls throughout town, with the Raisins Girls sending threatening messages to his alter-ego in Coonstagram, triggering the mission Raisins on a Rampage.
After escaping Raisins, Mosquito thanks The New Kid and questions The New Kid's Kryptonite. Eventually, when the Raisins girls are defeated, he escaped the restaurant with the New Kid. However, he was immediately charmed at the start of the battle, and turned to attack his fellow Coon and Friends. When The New Kid, now as The Amazing Butthole, reached him, he came to his senses and recalled his mission, he then picked a fight with the Raisins Girls as he didn't want to pay for the food and the services he enjoyed. However, he seemed unable to fulfill his duty as he ended up in Raisins, eating wings and bragging about his superhero deeds. Rejected, he was assigned to check out the city parks for the cat. On the first day, he suggested going to Raisins to "see if the waitresses know anything". Mosquito sided with Coon and Friends in the civil war, he was formerly introduced during the mission Mosquito in a Honey Pot, and was an available combat buddy from then on. South Park: The Fractured But Whole Background He also wears red gloves and a grey belt over his chest, with the latter featuring a small pouch and several packets of ketchup (simulating blood). A red vuvuzela is strapped over his nose to mimic a mosquito's mouth part (proboscis), and four wings (presumably made from cardboard) are taped to the back of his sweater. Mosquito wears an alternate look of Clyde's normal outfit: a dark blue turtleneck, brown pants, black shoes, and a brown toque with dark red stripes, with various additions to make him look more like his namesake. Mosquito was often yelled at by Cartman for various reasons, so he was evidently not one of the more steadfast heroes. In " Mysterion Rises", however, it is revealed that Clyde is in fact Mosquito, the hero who was easily beaten up by Cartman in " Coon 2: Hindsight", with the aid of the element of surprise. In the episode " Coon 2: Hindsight" he is present with the rest of the boys in Coon and Friends watching the rise of Cthulhu on television, before showing the now dressed-up heroes leaving, confirming him as one of them - in that episode, the candidates were effectively narrowed down to Clyde and Kenny. Cartman did accuse Mysterion of being Clyde, making him one of the possible candidates.
However, all of the children were bored of Cartman's lecture on the Coon, so it served as an illusion. He was shown sleeping in class the day Cartman gave his speech in class, possibly from playing Mysterion, but the next day it is implied this is Mysterion's first appearance. In " The Coon", many people saw Clyde as a possible candidate for the identity of Mysterion in the episode.
